September, 2013 "Hello, Mister President! – A Retrospective On ROC (Taiwan)-U. S. Friendship." A two disc set relating to a conference in Taipei celebrating the friendship between the U. S. and Taiwan. There was an exhibit hosted by the National Archives (to which the Harry S. Truman Library contributed pictures), plus the conference. Disc one highlights the opening of the exhibit, hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the National Chiang KaiShek Memorial Hall. The second disc highlights the conference, with speakers Hon. Chiang Shiao-yen, Chairman of the Chinese Nationalist Party; Dr. Yu-ming Shaw, chairman of the Board of the Public Television Service Foundation; Mrs. Mary Jean Eisenhower, Executive Director of the Dwight D. The newsman is Stan Carmack. The kick-off public showing features comments by museum curator Clay Bauske. Library AV Technician Ed Autry can be seen briefly in the projector room. Library volunteer Doris McCartney can be seen serving soda pop and popcorn to visitors. The reaction to the film from various visitors are recorded. VHS tape.

The event is in the auditorium of the Truman Library; introductory remarks by Clay Bauske, museum curator, and Jim Sanders, Superintendent of the Harry S. Truman National Historic Site. William Seale speaks on the history of the White House relating to the Truman administration, then takes questions. There is a new exhibit of Abbie Rowe photos relating to the reconstruction of the White House in the Truman administration. VHS.
