Reinvigorate Your Teaching at the Truman Library!
Hosted every summer, the Truman Library Teacher Conference is a 5-day professional development workshop designed to help teachers create a deeper understanding of content knowledge, strengthen classroom best practices and connect historical relevance.
- Open to K-12 classroom teachers across the country
- Learn from lead scholars that include Education Specialists from various presidential libraries and historical museums
- Engage directly with original primary source material
- Explore topics based around the complexity of presidential leadership and its relevancy to today
- Strengthen classroom best practices by engaging with a cohort of dedicated teachers
- Have fun!
This immersive week includes complimentary breakfast and lunch daily for all teachers and a free private hotel room for five nights for out-of-state teachers.
