Museum Hours	Purchasing Tickets
Monday – Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays Noon to 5 p.m. Closed Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. The museum will be closed on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. View a virtual tour of the museum The Research Room is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment only, except Federal holidays.	Purchase Tickets Tickets include admission to all exhibits. A NOTE TO OUR MEMBERS: Your membership benefits include FREE Museum admission. When ordering tickets, scroll down through the ticket types to “Truman Library Institute Membership.” On the day of your Museum visit, you must present proof of membership. If your ticket requires proof of membership or a valid ID please be sure to bring that with you. For ticketing questions, please. email truman.library@nara.gov. For refunds, the email message should include, the name, date and time of ticket, and order number. Please give 24 hours notice for refunds or rescheduling your ticket time and date.

$12 for adults $10 for seniors 62 and older $10 Veterans / Mil. retired-disabled $8 College Students (with ID) $5 Youth 13-18 Free for Members and children ages 12 and under There is no admission to enter the Museum Store	Free parking is available in lots surrounding the building. Visitors are required to go through a security screening. There are no lockers nor coat check available. Non-motorized wheelchairs are available on a first-come/first-served basis. Flash photography is prohibited in all exhibit areas. Cell phone usage is discouraged. Food, chewing gum, and beverages are prohibited in the exhibit areas. Firearms and other dangerous weapons are prohibited, in accordance with 18 U.S.C. 930 and 36 CFR 1280.

Directions to the Library	Online map and GPS
The Truman Library (500 W. U.S. Highway 24, Independence, Missouri 64050-1798) is approximately 35 miles from Kansas City International Airport. Bus service, indirect and possibly requiring considerable time and patience, is available between the airport and Independence Square, which is about 1 mile from the library. A taxi ride from the airport to the library costs about $55.00. There are many routes to the library by road. Some of the most direct are as follows: *from the airport: east and south on I-435 (Kansas City's circumferential highway) about 32 miles, to U.S. 24, and then east 3 miles to the library, visible on the north side of U.S. 24.; from the north: I-35 to I-435 east then south to U.S. 24 east.; from the east: I-70 to Highway 291. Head north on 291 to U.S. 24 west from the south: I-35 to I-435 east and north, to U.S. 24 east.; from the west*: I-70 east through Kansas City to I-435 north, to U.S. 24 east.	Online map and directions GPS Users: Please note that our entrance is off 24 Highway (Independence Avenue). Some GPS devices will not accept 24 Highway so we suggest entering Independence Avenue instead. We are bordered on the West by Delaware Street and on the East by Pleasant Street.
