Description

President Harry S. Truman, photographed for the first time with his Cabinet and heads of government agencies, holds his first Cabinet meeting following the Tri-Partite Conference of Berlin. Clockwise are: Secretary of Agriculture Clinton Anderson, Secretary of Labor Lewis Schwellenbach, National Housing Administrator John Blandford, WPB head Julius Krug, War Mobilization Director John Snyder, Director of Economic Stabilization William Davis, Foreign Economics Administrator Leo Crowley, Secretary of Commerce Henry Wallace, Undersecretary of Interior Abe Fortas, who sat in for Secretary Harold Ickes, Postmaster General Robert Hannegan, Secretary of War Henry Stimson, Secretary of State James Byrnes, President Truman, Secretary of Treasury Fred Vinson, Attorney General Tom C.
