PRESIDENT TRUMAN’S VISIT TO BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA 6/12/1948 Home movie donated by Frank Hardina. Narrated by donor Frank Hardina. Begins with a view of Darlene Hardina, then views a motorcade through Berkeley, California. President Truman is riding in a convertible, sitting on the back of the car. Narrator states “Give ‘Em Hell Harry, sitting up there like a pigeon” as the President’s vehicle passes. This was copied from an original 8mm home movie. VHS tape

President Truman sitting at a desk, reads the statement announcing the atomic bomb drop on Hiroshima. This may be a rehearsal, because it shows laughter. President Truman is aboard the U. S. S.
