Departed Union Station, Washington, D. C.
Arrived lower railroad yards, Princeton, New Jersey. Party was greeted here by a delegation of University officials and New Jersey representatives. The entire party then entered automobiles and drove to Prospect House (President Dodd's residence on University campus), where they remained until 10.25 a.m.
President Truman, President Dodds, the Governor General of Canada, Governor Driscoll of New Jersey, Chief Justice Fred M. Vinson, and General Dwight D. Eisenhower left Prospect House, and drove to Madison Hall, where they donned robes and joined academic procession at 10.50 a.m.
President Truman and the above-named individuals joined academic procession, walked across campus and along Nassau Street to the Amphitheatre, where the ceremonies were held. (Mrs. Truman and Miss Margaret Truman were escorted on foot across the campus to the reserved seating section in the Amphitheatre.)

The President, Mrs. Truman, Miss Margaret Truman, the Wells Family, and Admiral William Leahy were escorted on foot to Prospect House for luncheon. (The other members of the Presidential party had luncheon at Madison Hall and then joined the President at Prospect House.)
The Presidential party departed from Prospect House and motored to the Presidential train waiting in the Princeton lower railroad yards.
