President Harry S. Truman (center, marked) participates in a ceremony to observe the USS Missouri's crossing of the equator. The ceremony too place as he traveled Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Norfolk, Virginia after his visit to Brazil. Standing next to President Truman on the left is Captain James Foskett.
