Description
President Harry S. Truman (center, marked) participates in a ceremony to observe the USS Missouri's crossing of the equator. The ceremony too place as he traveled Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Norfolk, Virginia after his visit to Brazil. Standing next to President Truman on the left is Captain James Foskett. Standing in the naval uniform below and to the right of President Truman is Admiral William Leahy. All others are unidentified.
