President Eurico Gaspar Dutra of Brazil cuts a surprise 64th birthday cake as President Harry S. Truman (left) lends a helping hand. The ceremony took place at the District Building in Washington, D. In an address before a joint session of Congress, President Eurico Gasper Dutra of Brazil said that his nation was working hand in hand with the United States in an effort "to ensure world peace."
