Description

In an address before a joint session of Congress, President Eurico Gasper Dutra of Brazil said that his nation was working hand in hand with the United States in an effort "to ensure world peace." Beside President Dutra can be seen President Truman. In rear of rostrum are Senate President Pro Tempore Kenneth McKellar and Speaker Sam Rayburn. From: Beth Gore.
