Charles E. Wilson, CEO of General Motors, testifies before Senate Labor Committee

President Charles E. Wilson of General Motors today condemned President Truman's proposed fact-finding legislation and called instead for a "principle-finding" board. Testifying before the Senate Labor Committee, Wilson said that any legislation intended to settle labor-management disputes should include a statement of principle under which the machinery would operate.
