Charles Thayer Hunting Party Beside Deer

Both Charles Thayer and his wife Cynthia were fond of hunting in European settings, especially in Germany.

Charles Thayer on Duck Hunting Trip

The duck shooting expedition he was on took place 75 miles outside of Moscow near Zagorsk, Russia. Those mentioned in Thayer's typewritten account that went along with him included: Eddy Page, Grecia, a Red Army Brigadier General, the chief warden of the Army preserve and guides. Charles Thayer was living in Moscow, Russia at the time.

Russian Hunting Expedition
