Exterior view with a young Charles Thayer standing beside an automobile and holding ducks recently shot. At his feet are two dogs. The duck shooting expedition he was on took place 75 miles outside of Moscow near Zagorsk, Russia. Those mentioned in Thayer's typewritten account that went along with him included: Eddy Page, Grecia, a Red Army Brigadier General, the chief warden of the Army preserve and guides. Charles Thayer was living in Moscow, Russia at the time.
