Celebration for Clark Griffith at Griffith Stadium

Baseball players and unidentified men gathered on the field of Griffith Stadium, Washington, D.C. President Harry S. Truman was in attendance for the baseball game, as well as ceremonies honoring Washington Senators owner Clark Griffith, who celebrated 50 years in baseball. The Senators defeated the Yankees 12 to 4. Charles Ross and William D. Hassett are behind President Truman, Margaret and Mrs. Bess Truman are beside him.
