Baseball players and unidentified men gathered on the field of Griffith Stadium, Washington, D.C. President Harry S. Truman was in attendance for the baseball game, as well as ceremonies honoring Washington Senators owner Clark Griffith, who celebrated 50 years in baseball. The man on the left is New York Yankees Manager Bucky Harris. All others are unidentified. From the Scrapbooks of Matthew Connelly, Volume 4.
