President Harry S. Truman is waving his hat as he returned to Washington today after a 20 day trip to Brazil. The Chief Executive was tanned and appeared rested as he stepped from the presidential yacht Williamsburg at the Washington Gun Factory.

President Harry S. Truman as he addressed the Joint Session of the Special Session of the 80th Congress. This is the session that he stated he would call during his speech at the Democratic National Convention. Seated behind President Truman are Senator Arthur H. Margaret Truman, daughter of the Chief Executive, finished her present concert tour this evening with a final concert at Constitution Hall in Washington. She sang before an audience of almost 4,000 persons, among whom were top administration and diplomatic corps members.
