President Harry S. Truman's remarks presenting an award at the Driver of the Year Ceremony to Mr. Allen C. Sagerhorn, of Barnesville, Minnesota. Besides having a perfect safety record on the road, Mr. Sagerhorn was chosen by American Trucking Association, Inc. for the award for saving an unconscious boy from burning car at the risk of his own life. The group included 40 young people from throughout the United States who were winners in the annual Science Talent Institute sponsored by the Westinghouse Corporation.
