Students will research American Revolution and Arab Spring and compare and contrast the events to better understand both in terms of political, economic and social implications. The activity will utilize a wide range of sources and students will also learn how to analyze primary and secondary source documents.

This lesson implements the Socratic Seminar Instructional Method to investigate Women and the Islamic Revolution.

Students will develop a deeper comprehension of the strife between Israel and the Palestinians and will be able to apply their own synthesis to their own lives through their own role-playing creation.

This classroom activity has the purpose of explaining to students the geographic difficulty of finding a two-state solution in the Middle East that would have the support of both the Israelis and the Palestinians.

This lesson is designed to help students understand the complex issues that contributed to the US recognizing the State of Israel. In addition will it will help to put that action into a bigger picture of the Cold War diplomacy and politics.

Students will look at primary documents in a study of the six day war.
