President Harry S. Truman's address at the 70th Anniversary meeting of the National Civil Service League. The President spoke at 9:30 p.m. at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. His opening words "Mr. Chairman" referred to Nicholas Kelley, president of the National Civil Service League and vice president and general counsel of the Chrysler Corp. The address was broadcast. In two parts.
