Description

President Harry S. Truman's remarks to the Executive Committee of the National Association of Postmasters. The President received the postmasters at 12:15 p.m. in his office at the White House. The president discussed good public service and servants, as well as the need for the president to be surrounded by good people he trusts. Text of remarks not found in the Public Papers. Bernard Dickmann, President of the Association, also spoke.
