Description
President Truman (seated center, in dark jacket with white collar) gives a press conference in the north garden of the Little White House at Key West, Florida. This press conference took place during President Truman's ninth vacation visit to Key West. Standing behind President Truman are some members of his staff that joined his vacation party, from left to right: John Steelman (sixth from left, in light colored shirt), Roger Tubby, unidentified Navy officer, Charles Murphy, William Hassett, Admiral William D. Leahy (partly obscured), and Press Secretary Joseph Short. All others are unidentified.
