President Harry S. Truman attending a luncheon commemorating the one-hundredth anniversary of the founding of the U.S. Department of the Interior. At the head table, from left to right are: Secretary of the Interior James Forrestal, Secretary of State Dean Acheson, unidentified man, President Truman, Secretary of the Interior Julius Krug, unidentified man, Secretary of the Treasury John Snyder, and Attorney General Tom Clark. Seated at the table in the foreground are Under Secretary of the Interior Oscar Chapman (Left side of table, left), Postmaster General Jesse Donaldson (left side of table, second from left), and Secretary of Commerce Charles Sawyer (right side of table, fourth from left). All others are unidentified.
