Description

President Harry S. Truman (left) receives an honorary scroll of membership from the Royal Netherlands Choral Society as a tribute to the American soldiers who occupied Maastricht, the first Netherlands town to be liberated from the Germans. Presenting the scroll are Colonel Edward W. Gould (middle) and the Ambassador from Holland Eelco Nicolaas van Kleffens (right).
