Description
President Harry S. Truman (in civilian clothes) steps ashore from a PT boat during his vacation visit to St. Croix in the Virgin Islands. The PT boat brought him ashore from his yacht, the USS Williamsburg. Also present is Admiral William Leahy (foreground, turned sideways). Other sailors and naval officers are unidentified.
