Admiral William Leahy (left) presents the American Automobile Association's life-saving medal to 15-year-old Jane Hatton (center). The issuance of the medal due to Jane's part in saving the life of a fellow student. The man on the right is unknown. From the scrapbook of Matthew Connelly, volume 4.
