President Harry S. Truman (center) is greeting a crowd that has gathered near the presidential airplane in Kansas City, Missouri. President Truman was back from a United Nations Conference and was on the way to his home in Independence, Missouri, where he would spend a few day. Margaret Truman (left) stands next to her father. All others are unidentified.
