Description

President Harry S. Truman (right) holds Sandra Marie Smith, an orphan of World War II from the Veterans of Foreign Wars Home. V.F.W. Commander-in-Chief, Ray H. Brannaman is with her to present the first Buddy Poppy of the V.F.W. fund drive to President Truman in the Oval Office.
