This is a commercial photograph of the fountain in front of the Mosque of Omar in Jerusalem. The mosque was built in 1193 to commemorate the surrender of Jerusalem to Caliph Omar in 637. Part of a group of photographs originally sent by E. Clifton Daniel, Jr. to his mother.
