Description

(L-R) Bess Truman, Elvah Daniel, and Clifton Daniel, Sr. leave the Truman home in Independence, Missouri, for the wedding of Margaret Truman and E. Clifton Daniel, Jr. As they walk down the path to the gate, Mrs. Truman waves to the onlookers. Mrs. Daniel's dress was by David Camen. It was reembroidered Alencon lace over peau-de-soie in Celeste Blue with a matching hat by Hattie Carnegie. The man holding the gate is unidentified.
