An unidentified person shakes hands with Appointment Secretary Matthew Connelly (far right) at a mock reception as he and Press Secretary Charles Ross (left of Connelly) are welcomed to Key West, Florida, by President Harry S. Truman (center). Also present are (from left to right) Assistant to the President John R. Steelman, Governor of Washington Monrad Wallgren, and writer Jonathan Daniels.
