Description
Colgan family members pose in the front yard of a house on Overton Street in Independence, Missouri, built by Murray Truman Colgan. Sitting on a swing are Murray Truman Colgan and Milbra "Colga" Colgan. Sitting on the ground in front of them are Virginia Elizabeth Colgan (later to marry R.E. Bruner) and Rochester Campbell Colgan. Murray Truman Colgan's mother was Emily Ricks Truman, sister of John Anderson Truman. From: Nancy Ehrlich, Jackson County Historical Society.
