Description
Nice color photograph of the ark, silver and copper inscribed Torah case, a gift from President Chaim Weizmann of Israel to President Truman. It is now in the museum collection of the Harry S. Truman Library. The ark was used to hold the Torah (Old Testament Five Books of Moses) given to the President on May 27, 1948.
