The President dined and made a brief speech; then departed for over-flow Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner at Statler Hotel. At this dinner he made broadcast on national hook-up at 10:37 p.m. The President returned to Blair House at 11:06 p.m.

Mr. Nacy says he does not know Friborg and Mayer, only having met them through Walter Toberman, but that Toberman is a good friend of his and has been supporter of the President always. Toberman is a grain dealer in St. Louis)
