Mr. Len Costley (impersonating mythical character of great north woods, Paul Bunyan) Mr. Stanley J. O'Connor, Washington Manager of Minnesota and Ontario Paper Co. (Mr. Costley (Paul Bunyan) brought to the president an invitation from Governor Youngdahl of Minnesota an invitation to participate in the Minnesota Centennial in 1949. Len Costley, 6'6" impersonator of mythical Bunyan will appear in his characteristic role, dressed in red lumber jacket, long black beard, spiked shoes, high hat and big axe, and will appear in these clothes at Paul Bunyan Festival of Minnesota State Society, Jan. 7th at the Shoreham Hotel. The story of this legendary hero has been handed down through many generations of lumber jacks. Bunyan is supposed to have accomplished amazing feats with help of his crew and his pet blue ox. His footsteps are supposed to have caused Minnesota's ten thousand lakes.)
