Portrait of James E. Webb

James E. Webb, Administrator of the U. S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration. He was named to this position in 1961 by President Kennedy and led the U. S. space agency during the manned space flight programs and then through other important scientific programs such as televising the moon surface with the U. S. Ranger spacecraft and sending photos back from Mars with U. W. Mariner spacecraft. This is an excellent portrait and includes an original 4 X 5 color transparency.
