Portrait of Rufus Burrus

Head-and-shoulders of Rufus Burrus, friend of Harry S. Truman and former member of the 35th Division. The photo was taken in Burrus' office during an interview by noted writer Merle Miller for the Truman television adaptation of his book, "Plain Speaking," which appeared on the Public Broadcasting System in 1976.
