Anderson, Robert Bernerd, 1910-1989

Robert Bernerd Anderson (b. June 4, 1910, Burleson, Texas-d. August 14, 1989, New York, New York) was a lawyer, oil and gas developer, and U.S. government official who served as Secretary of the Navy from 1953 to 1954, as Deputy Secretary of Defense from 1954 to 1955, and as Secretary of the Treasury from 1957 to 1961.
