Sports fans line up along a ski run in Hiawatha National Forest in Upper Michigan. This is one of the more difficult runs with a sharp turn to the right. Down the slope to the flat on the right is the last part of the run, but many skiers fall trying to make this turn. Hiawatha National Forest with Huron National Forest was administered as Michigan National Forest from 1918 to 1962.
