The American 2nd and 26th divisions passed by on their way to the fighting in the Belleau Woods. The 2nd division erected a "Indian Head" plague on a large boulder at the site. Donor: George J. Coming down the steps in uniform on the left is French Field Marshall Ferdinand Foch and the man in uniform on the right is identified as Commander Hearn. The other officer on the right is identified as Commander Hearn. Others in view are not identified.
