Former President Truman and Bess Truman in Car
Former President Harry S. Truman and his wife, Bess, were photographed here in February, 1958, during a visit to Washington, D. C. Mr. Truman is known truly as a "family man," taking a great delight in the company of his wife, daughter, and other close relatives. The former President was under hospital care in Kansas City Wednesday (Dec., 1958) for congestion of the lungs. From: Houston Post.
