Located in Independence, MO, on the campus of Graceland University, it opens on the 50th Anniversary of North Korean troops crossing the 38th Parallel into South Korea, beginning the Korean War. Includes interviews with Center for the Study of the Korean War staff member Paul M. Edwards, Korean War veteran David Carmichael, and the Harry S. Truman Library's education staff member Tom Heuertz.

President Harry S. Truman's remarks to members of the Eighth Annual Institute on the Preservation and Administration of Archives. The President spoke at 12:50 p.m. in the Rose Garden at the White House. The Institute, held in Washington, June 16-July 11, was under the direction of the American University in cooperation with the Library of Congress, the National Archives and Records Service, and the Maryland Hall of Records.
