This photograph was taken by President Harry S. Truman using a new Graflex Crown Graphic camera that the WHNPA had just presented to him.

Margaret Truman (Left) and Bess Truman (right) sit in lawn chairs outside Blair House. The note on the back of the photograph reads: "June 4th, 1949. Dad took this of Mother and me in back yard of Blair." The Trumans stayed at Blair House while the White House was being renovated.
