President Truman's Address at the National Archives

President Harry S. Truman's address at the dedication of the new shrine for the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. The President spoke at 10:30 a.m. in the Exhibition Hall at the National Archives in Washington, DC. In his opening remarks he referred to Fred M. Vinson, Chief Justice of the United States, Jess Larson, Administrator of General Services, Luther Harris Evans, Librarian of Congress, and Wayne C. Grover, Archivist of the United States.
