Belgian war memorial to U.S. soldiers consisting of an urn containing soil covered with the blood of American paratroopers spilled during the historic Battle of the Bulge, Bastogne, Belgium. The urn was presented to President Harry S. Truman on July 10, 1946, at the White House. The urn is made of jade green malachite from the Belgian Congo with the Four Freedoms lettered in silver.
