The lesson will be a traditional lecture based lesson using primary source documents from President Truman and Joseph McCarthy. I will also incorporate a documentary movie on the HUAC trials and McCarthy. My main focus will be on the Red Scare.

Point/counterpoint on President Truman

This is lecture activity using power discussing the importance of and impact of WWI specifically from the point of view of Harry S. Truman. The lecture follows the decision of the 33 year old veteran from the farm to France leaving his mom and sister.
