President Truman Leaves Washington for a Caribbean Vacation
President Harry S. Truman left Washington by air today for a Caribbean vacation. Mr. Truman, en route to Key West, Florida, on the first lap of a 2-week trip which includes inspection of the nation's Caribbean outposts, took off from Washington National Airport in the Presidential airplane "Sacred Cow."
