The Wiley College choir under the direction of Gilbert Allen performs music on ABC radio. Wiley College of Marshall, TX, is a historically black college. The choir performs: Tchaikovsky's motet "O Praise Ye God;" Allen's arrangement of the spiritual "Amen;" Sergei Rachmaninoff's hymn "We Praise Thee;" Allen's arrangement of "We Shall Walk Through the Valley in Peace;" and two spirituals arranged by Hall Johnson, "Fix Me," and "I've Been 'Buked." The radio broadcast is undated, but the date is inferred based on the other item on the disc, which is a speech by President Truman. It may not be correct.
