Description
President Harry S. Truman's address at the Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner. The President spoke at 10 p.m. at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington. His opening words "Mr. Chairman" referred to Wilson W. Wyatt who served as chairman of the dinner. The address was carried on a nationwide radio broadcast.
