Description
President Harry S. Truman's remarks to a group of high school students from Kansas, who served as Good Will Ambassadors. The President spoke at 3:05 p.m. in the Rose Garden at the White House. The group consisted of 31 Kansas high school students who had just finished a 10-day study tour of Canada, which they had won in a contest for the best essays on U.S.-Canadian relations. The contest and trip were under the auspices of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Kansas.
