Office of Price Administration Administrator Paul Porter testified before the House Banking and Currency Committee that if price lines can be held another 12 months the danger of crippling inflation will be past. Porter urged Congress not to force OPA "to default in the last round" by weakening the price control structure. From: Beth Gore.
